Shiraz-Cabernet
This wine is a medium bodied table wine showing strong spicy shiraz and herbaceous capsicum aromas. It has plenty of body, the tannins are soft and round with good length of blueberry and blackberry fruit flavours.
Drayton's Hunter Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
This cabernet is ruby to violet in colour with a herbaceous blackcurrant and grassy capsicum aroma, complicated by a hint of smoky oak. The palate is long and full with layers of flavour.
Drayton's Hunter Valley Cabernet Merlot
A full bodied wine being crimson rich red in colour with lifted fruit complicated with oak.
Drayton's Vineyard Reserve Shiraz
The wine being deep crimson red in colour with a dark centre. The aromas are a montage of white pepper and spicy turmeric notes with subtle American oak and the traditional "leather like" Hunter Valley regional characters.
Drayton's Vineyard Reserve Merlot
100% Merlot from the newly planted vineyard at Mount Bright, Pokolbin. Crimson red with dark centre; Aroma an explosion of mocha coffee & herbaceous forest floor characters complemented by well integrated American oak; Palate very consistent; pleasant, firm tannin & lingering after taste.
